Moving into a
hot housing market is a problem that transferees and their employers struggle
with daily.
When Moving into an area transferees are
faced with some or all of the following:
-
Unable to purchase a home within the same price range as
the one just left. Either because there isn't any available or the
prices in the new marketplace have risen, and are still rising.
-
Make concessions on purchase offers to waive inspection,
financing, or appraisal clauses or escalate purchase price.
-
Consider waiting for a home to be built, to make
housing affordable.
-
Choices are limited to areas with longer commutes.
-
Houses bought have needed/necessary repairs, not willing to
be corrected by seller prior to closing.
