The escrow period is the busiest part of the selling process. Communication and cooperation are key to a successful close.

Escrow Activities May Include:

  • Examining the preliminary title report and making sure any issues of title are resolved early to avoid closing delays.
  • Ensuring that you have received copies of all documents pertinent to the transaction.
  • Making sure that all contingencies (financial, inspection, title, and possession) are met and removed within the time limits provided.
  • Meeting the appraiser at the property to answer questions and provide comparable sales data.
  • Keeping you informed of all inspections and reports.
  • Ensuring that all documents are ordered and drawn.
